Shit, what a weekend. I'm snowed in right now and i love it. This weekend though was a bunch of highs and unfortunately.... big loes.
Friday my band played a gig at a really cool place in fells point in Baltimore (think of the movie "Diner"). We rocked, everyone had a good time, we actually made some money and went back to my place for an after show throw down.
That morning, a friend of mine got into a car accident and killed a girl. He was supposed to stay at a friends house but didn't want to. Needless to say, he is in deep shit.
And you know what? He should be. He is a friend of mine and he should get everything that is coming to him. I offered for him to stay at my place, other offered to him. And he took none of it and fucking KILLED someone.
He left my house, partied at another house. went back to our friends and decided not to stay and drove home at 6:30 in the morning, IN THE SNOW, and got into an accident. Fuck.
Hopefully this will be a wakeup call to my other friends who think its ok to get behind a car after drinking. I would way rather stay at someones house than to die, but thats just me.
Anyway, I did have a good weekend despite that tradgedy. i will post pics of the show in a bit. i hope everyone had a good weekend and are good.

That is so awful about your friend...and that poor girl, unsuspecting girl who died. I drove home drunk Sunday night, and am very fucking pissed off at myself for having done it. It's NOT fucking worth it. I got a tongue-lashing for it, and deserved it. Your life can be over in seconds...whether you kill yourself or someone else. Thanks for the lesson. On a lighter note, glad you had fun this weekend.
