So tonight I spun records for the first time in a few weeks, and I made a 30 minute audio/video mix that I might put up on the net. Then I figured, why not shoot a couple of pics with the cam? I've got others, too...not enough for a whole set though. What do you think about a set with turntables, headphones, and little else?
Back to the Mall of America for me tomorrow, I'm working 2 jobs and it's also T's birthday, so we're gonna celebrate the fact that he is no longer a teenager anymore, heehee. I remember the day I entered the 20's, I think I was pretty unhappy and was with the wrong guy. That wrong guy bought me a blue lingerie set (back when I was 34D!!) from Victoria's Secret and also a pair of kickass engineer boots that I have in storage somewhere in LA.
Thanks so much Emily and INKEDgirl for the support and compliments. I really appreciate it, as I'm the first one to admit that I'm in some kind of self-confidence rut. And this is not one of those "cool to self-deprecate" scenarios, I've just been in this rut tunnel, and only now can I see the light. Finally, I can get out and focus and get down to business.
If only anyone could absorb some of the details floating around in my brain, what a more relaxed girl I'd be. However, for a change, everyone else seems to be wrapped up in their own drama, so I can go about my merry way at work and not get hassled too much.
Do you like to drink tea? Want some tea and crumpets? I want to have a giant SG tea party someday, wouldn't that be grand?
