I hope that everyone had a safe and fun weekend, especially Dougal *wink*
The weekend flew by although I didn't do anything memorable, just worked. I've been thinking about taking a position as a shotgirl at my other job, althtough it would entail "entertaining", but not like a dancer. Clothes on, very informal, way out in the open. Me being the closet exhibitionist that I am will probably help me decide, and it might be something fun and positive, no?
Anyone out there had positive experiences as a dancer? I've been reading all sorts of stuff on web, and I think this would definitely fall under that "something to tell your grandkids someday" category. Besides, 'tis better to regret something you've done than something you haven't, no?
The above is part of my master plan, though, you want to know what that is? Starting a troop, in the true art of burlesque. The revival is upon us with people like Dita von Teese and others paving the way for us 21st century foxes. Just the thought of it turns me on! Heehee. But really, wouldn't that be neat?
In other news, I don't know what to do about this yarn-like stuff creeping out of my scalp. My hair feels unreal, what's a curly gal to do? Elise? Rosalyn? Any tips, hints, or tricks? The humidity as of late has been wreaking havoc on my strands and follicles.
Ick, do I sound too self-absorbed? I'm not, really, I'm not, it's just the current events and news as of late has been utterly depressing, driving me to watch the Pet Psychic on the Animal Planet channel, and other stuff like that, in an attempt to tune out the world's atrocities. I'm not unrealistic at all, sometimes sensory overload is apparent and too much to bear.
Just when I start to worry too much about my dramatic life, I read some of the "confessions" at http://www.notproud.com and then take a whole new approach to things.

Trixie
good luck with your decision on the dancing thing. i think there was a club here in portland that used to have burlesque shows.
You are not self-absorbed, its a journal and it started with me so that isn't an issue.
What is your hair doing?
See Trixie I am not the only one who wants to see a set of you naked ... hehehe I know so does everyone {:oP
