Early morning ramblings...you have been warned.

I've got a question. See, I'm in the midst of an argument with some friends about the adult industry, more specifically, WAITRESSING (not dancing) in a strip club. Do you think it's just like actually dancing? Do you think that it's a copout to getting a real job?

Both of my answers are no, btw. If you're in a dead-end job, (meaning, a job that doesn't represent your true passion, so as long as it's not conflicting with your core beliefs and morals), then why shouldn't you work one that pays the most $$?? What if waitressing at a strip club pays more than just about every dumb retail job out there on the planet?

Please hit me in the head with my platform shoe if I am entirely missing the point or am off the mark here.

Yes, it's me, sometimes I do some fetishy stuff. So I said fuck it, and I'll do what I want no matter what anyone thinks, regarding the job I mentioned.

As long as I am ok with it, then who cares what anyone else thinks? It's that whole agree to disagree thing, and my friends are going to have to respect whatever choices I make, right?

i have a simular ordeal. i am currently working a "soft" job that over pays me and has extremely flexi-table hours. I get off when i want, so on. I HATE IT. Money can be very important unfortunetly; but it is not the only important thing. as long as you need the money, the money is probably the most important thing. but if you are working a job you can't stand, it may not be worth it. so, as long as YOU don't mind the job, and you are making enough, stick with it.
