There is almost nothing as fulfilling and gratifying as quitting a place of employment.
I didn't think it would end up the way it did, but regardless of methods, I'm blissfully happy that it occurred. The flipside to the coin is that being unemployed is not conducive to rampant and creative shopping as well as timely bill paying. Perhaps I'll go into temping, but I gotta do something and FAST.
I'm sad that INKEDgirl is leaving. She's been a rich amber in a sea of colorless and humorless grays. Lest anyone take offense, I do not regard SG members to be colorless grays, thank you very much. Just clarifying that point.
I'm curious as to how Ms.Love's involvement is going to affect future traffic and rapport on the site. The more things change the more they stay the same. I'm just delighted to have been here almost from the beginning, not that seniority has any merit. I've become fond of some of the new members as well, their vast contributions to ceaseless threads amusing me in my sometimes removed self.
There is a project in the works for me, but I am not naming it, lest it become another unchecked to do on a list of failures. But it's serious, it could be life changing. Certain events will have different and more cryptic meanings.
