an exact inventory of what i wore and carried with me today:

clothing:

socks: some mismatched sweat socks
underwear mountain equipment co-op merino wool long johns, black. baby its cold outside
tshirt: purple american apparel tri-blend
sweater; black american apparel fine knit, suitable for work
pants: naked and famous dark rinse selvedge denim jeans (i can pull these off at work)
shoes: palladium leather ankle high french foreign legion boots
coat: canada goose slim fitting parka. furry hood taken off

bag: roots leather shoulder bag

inside bag:
parrot stark bluetooth headphones
iphone
ipad mini
toothbrush
toothpaste
floss
gum
small container of vitamins
work security ID and door pass
various napkins
wallet
keys
pen
small notebook (although i don't really need this with the ipad, although book's batteries don't die)

on ipad:
the usual nonsensical apps
songza
soundcloud
men's fitness mag
wired mag
aux music mag
book on presentation skills
now toronto entertainment weekly rag

in wallet:
$10 bill
vsa card
atm card (automatic teller not ass to mouth pervert)
drugstore loyalty card
airmiles card
driver's licence
health card
metropass
a few subway tokens
some change.

this is what my kit is on any given day.

typical additions are:
a kleen kanteen of water
a fruit and nut bar
something for my cat.

underneath all this nonsense is me.

when i write about myself here i usually try to not consider all this extraneous stuff, just the me part.
