all in all a shitload of music, but this freezing time of year I have hungry ears and I'm in the post modern post punk indie dance synthy electro sound that's got that new orderishness to it in general. its fairly emo, but i'm feeling fairly emo these days so it fits.

skipped my workout and am skipping the meeting tonight. just gonna listen to tunes and maybe do some laundry. i have tomorrow off, but a counselling session mandated by work i need to go to and i'll head to the gym earlier. it sucks that they have their paws in my life, but then again they pretty much saved it, so complying to a little bit of nonsense is not the end of the world.

saw a couple of condo i liked on the MRLS website, of course they're tiny and retardedly expensive. one had a view on the skyline similar to my apt. which is the hardest thing to give up about this apt. but it's a one room studio about 425 square feel. i actually like small self contained spaces, but if i want to entertain occassionally i.e. date this fall it would be nice to have a separate bedroom. I can always walk to the waterfront to see the view, whatever happens I'll still be living right downtown. can't take the boy out of the city. nope. although the city is getting to me. it IS killing me.

I've been flirting with a young cutie Taisha via txt, i should ask her out soon. Kathleen txted last weekend and i have yet to reply. other friends i need to make the effort to get in touch with. i'm really being hermit like. all i really want to do lately is listen to music eat carbs and sleep. winter. pffff.

work is going ok. helped put together an event for monday that's fairly high profile. of course I'll have to be there suit, smiles, handshakes and all well into the evening and volunteered my car to run errands earlier in the day (of course parking and gas to be paid). basically i've been aiming to please. the actual work is still pretty much unchallenging compared to my agency days where i actually had to think fast. here is just about pace and appearance. everything's by the book. i wonder how much longer it'll be before i fuck the book?

going back to the beginning this album is the best most fun thing i've heard in ages. plus i lived in boystown for 7 years, it makes me think fondly of that time.
