its takes me back to lonely winter days of skipped school on downtown exploration, finding friends in books, music and the oddities of the version of the city that it then was.
tonight i feel that loneliness again. middle of the week winter only a cup of coffee to reflect at. still exploring downtown heading home with a bag of found treasures to sink into with my feet on the heater. treasures that don't hug back unfortunately. i find myself toying at a cigarette... it speaks louder than the other knick knacks i've brought home.
tomorrow i'm going to make it a point to connect with some actual people before the slow vacuum of winter sucks me away completely.
