At the risk of sounding whiny, I am going to use this blog as a means to vent. I am sure I am not alone. Everyone has those friends that always want to hang out, but just never quite find the time for you. Funny how in their extremely busy schedules they find time to: hang out with their boyfriend/girlfriend, hit up the bars, hit up a baseball game, hit up the mall, layout, etc. It seems in their overwhelmingly busy schedule they find just about any excuse to not have time. Now I know that it would appear these aren't actually friends at all. I would agree to a certain level. However, they seem to come around once every year or so...when the significant other bails, they need a good friend around. I also find it very confusing how someone could behave like this and not even be aware of their behavior. I know I am just as guilty perhaps at times in my past. I feel like I've reached an age now where priorities have made themselves apparent to me. Boyfriends/Girlfriends come and go...but we always seem to fall back on our friends...

Also, I have a friend who is exactly like that, to the point where she has decided to spend her entire summer with her boyfriend in LA, completely knocking out all the things we had planned to do these few months.
