so i spent a long lazy day off by myself, slept in late and had a nice bowl of cereal with tivo this morning. i had many thoughts of what might be better spent activities than the ones i chose today, but i didn't get around to any of them, save one. i went for a run in the late morning, and i'm extremely glad i did, because the entire climate in my town was spot on perfect today. it reminded me of the best summer days when i lived just outside of boulder, the air smelled clean, the sky was a striking shade of blue, the temperature was so perfect i felt like pinching myself. i did find that i started looking for ways to distract myself while i was out there, i started noticing how many satellite dishes there are on all the houses in my neighborhood, and i would venture a guess to say that 8 out of 10 houses have one.... that's a lot of porn hookup, people.


i still haven't heard from the one person who would make my week yet... i'm not sure i will hear from her. i wish i could get her undivided attention for 5 minutes, maybe then i could smooth all the jaggedness between us, i've always been able to come up with the right words for any problem, if i'm passionate enough about what i'm trying to fix. and in this case, i feel like if i'm not heard i might be somewhat shattered again. what a crap deal when another person can call the shots, even with their absence. pfft.

going to see spiderman 2 with a few friends in an hour, hope it's not utter fluff...
