so i finally dragged ass out of bed this morning and went for a run... it always makes me feel about a thousand times more productive than sleeping in (though for my money, most things can't touch the perfection of sleeping in and waking up naturally...)
i need to get on a budget. i make better money now than i ever have, and yet have nothing much to show for it. the only real back up plan i have is my companies stock options and stock that i get purchased out of my checks. but that's not even real money, it's more "hey look! i'm not destitute on paper!!" i hate watching what i spend, it makes me feel poor. rereading this makes me sound like i spend money like a pimp, but i just don't want to ask myself if i can afford to go buy a book before payday, or wonder whether i can afford to treat a friend to lunch, that's all.
i went and picked up some pictures after work last night.. i love getting pictures developed. it's like a mini xmas, because you can't really know for sure what's going to be on the rolls of film. got a few cute snaps, maybe i'll post them if i get time.. i actually don't look too trollish in some, if you can believe that..
i'm off to watch t.v. and fold endless piles of laundry...redoing my hair color tommorow, then i'll be red red red again..

If you had to pick two people to be your parents (excluding your own) who would they be? As for me David Sedaris and Lorrie Moore, both authors, both brilliant.
