I thought i might as well reca my past year, as everyone else is doing it i thought why not.
Lets see I started the year sharing a house wth my brither and his fiance and working at FP.
In March, my brother and his fiance had a wonderful, beautiful baby gil called Rowan, this was great but meant that i had to move out a few weeks before, fortunately my great friends Lilandra and ProfessorX invited me to move into there house and share with them.
Once i had moved in with them, i could start to finally live my own life (my bother was very controlling and i let him). They helped me be myself and have given me so much confidence so that i can start to be who i ant to be. It was in July that Lilandra finally got (forced!) me to get the tattoo i always wanted and join SG, I will love her forever for doing this.
Since joining SG i have met some wonderful new friends both in the UK and all over the world and had a wnderful time on here and meeting some of you guys at the London Tattoo convention, and the beautiful Angl_Ree's halloween party. In september I also managed to get back to doing something which i have always loved which is Hillwalking, again i have to thank Lilandra for wanting to do it with me.
Working at the SW Celebration Europe was a blast and something i will always remember.
In Novemeber i left FP which was the best and worst decision i had taken, i loved the job and the people there and being able to be a kd and play with all of the toys but i realy needed to get out of the job because i had no time to myself (i was leaving before 7 in the morning and getting home at 8 at night), and because the bosses wanted to keep me in the position where i was so that the could use me anywhere else which they did. The final straw was when i was told that i would get the promotion to the job i was already doing because i didnt drive.
December was really te hardest month for me, it started well with my brothers wedding, which saw me as the best man wearing a kilt on one of the coldest days that month. Unfortunately this wedding was extremely stressful for me and while there i was looking after a relatives little girl who reminded me so much of my brothers first child, courtney who tragically died a couple of years before just a few days after her 6th birthday. Coming from this wedding i ended up breaking down an finally letting all of the emotions that i was holding back and hiding from so i didnt have to deal with them. During this time i really went of the rails, and lost a good friend in the pocess. Thanks to all of the support from you guys and especially Chomper and Lilandra i was able to deal with all of this, im still not totally okay but in a much better place now thanks to those two wonderful people.
God that was so hard to write down.
I would love to thank Lilandra for being the best friend i could ever have.
So ow im in 2008 and im looking forward to seeing where it takes me for a change, I hope to make many more friends on here and get to meet as many as i can.
