This is my post wedding blog - with some pictures!
As most of you guys know i was the best man at my brothers wedding on saturday.
It started off on top form when me and my brother got to the church to find out that the ushers hadnt arrived and guests were milling about and i had to play host to all of the guests until the ushers arrived.
The wonderful Angel_Ree was my date for the weekend, she graciously accepted my invitationto be scared and overwhelmed by meeting the entirety of my family. She handled herself really well even though she got plastered on red wine at the evening. Here is a pic of me in my dress kilt accompanied by Angel_Ree in her beautiful dress:
I was cold enough to freeze the balls of off a brass monkey outside the church!
Heres a pic of the Bride and Groom with 2 of the bridesmaids and there partners, one of whom is the lovely Lilandra:
The service was really good and i managed to perform my part in it almost perfectly!
The dinner at the reception was the part that i was most dreading as most of the people who really know me on her you will know that i am incredibly quiet and very shy. The speech was really making me nervous.
Even so i managed to pull it off really well and gave a short but very heartfelt speech, it was probably the worst 5 minutes of my life standing up in front of my family and friends and saying stuff but i managed to pull it off!
After the dinner i was able to relax, start to enjoy myself and catch up with everybody else in getting drunk, it was a free bar all night and there was plenty of wine on the table. Angel_Ree did her very best to enjoy herself and drunk the best part of 2 bottles of red wine andvarious other drinks, she was totally pissed but enjoyed herself and didnt in anyway manage to embarrass herself, all of my friends and family now adore her!
