Well, it's a little cold and gloomy out. The neighborhood trash collectors are making a racket. I wish I could still drink coffee on days like this. I need to shower and shave and head off to work.
The city of Portland has been on my mind almost every day since I got back. Everyone I talk to that has been there has plans to...

puke

you know what about portland? i had always felt like i was coming home when i got here... every time i drove down and got within an hour of the city, a great sigh of 'i'm home' rushed thru me... it's a beautiful place.... but it isn't for everyone. it rains a lot. it's not as "fast" as LA.. did i mention it rains a lot?

if it felt like home to you when you were here, it might very well be home...

Had an excellent B-Day dinner with the 'rents last night. Ended up closing the place down and drinking too much wine. Not bad for Mom's 60th. I only hope I can stay so young.

when i broke up with my ex and moved back in with my parents, my mom would put my towel in the dryer while i was in the shower and bring it back to me all warm and fluffy biggrin biggrin

Okay, something is in the air. First I go to Portland and by chance see 4 wonderful SGs. And now, this very evening, I see my very favorite-est SG, at my very place of employment. Verily.
Some magical SG force is swirling around me. Now if only it could cure my ills, all would be well.
night:
hi biggrin biggrin

XOXO
voltaire:
that means one of three things.... you work at either, trader joes the dollar store, or aaron's records. which is it?

Just got back from Oregon and had a great time. We decided to go up to Portland. Turned out to be a good one. We happened across quite a few SGs. It was such fun. Kinda happy/sad to be back. . .

I can't wait to go on vacation. Visiting my brother in Oregon. Always good. See some shows, eat some food, drink some liquids, talk some words. It'll be the first time I've gone up with out the whole family there. Just me and the g/f. Good stuff.

pandamonium:
heh ... when i was younger, i was a messy eater. i mean, really messy. i remember a vacation with my family to New Orleans when i was 8 (over my messy eating stage) and an ice cream vendor asked if i wanted ice cream. my parents said "sorry, we didn't bring her bib." i still get paranoid about eating in front of people.

but i've also gotten really good at laughing at myself. biggrin

me likey funny pictures.

Well, I saw RE2 today and almost enjoyed it, but the damned sound cut out in the middle and the pre-movie crap-ass music came on. "You Raise Me Up" while a bunch of zombie children munched on someone. Granted it was funny, but I wanted my $11 back. That's what I get for cheating on the Arclight.
rorschach:
I just saw Hero for the 4th time. smile

Thanks for the comment on my set! biggrin kiss

Just got really nostalgic. Listening to an album I haven't in months and brought me back to when I was. . .not who I am now. . .
A good friend said to Claudia the SG on her B-Day something like: "Welcome to the hardest decade of your life." I wish someone had told me, because I'm only halfway through and it almost friggin killed...

This Sunday is slipping away from me faster than I can say "meat popsicle".
I really should get out of my robe and enjoy the lovely hot California day, but. . .
*sigh*
I reunited some old friends last night and we all had a pretty good time. It was a bit strange since we've all changed a bit, but good too. I lost every...
