6th Cuts

Wow. I really thought it was time to cut the munchkins. One went, no shock, but the fact that Evan wasn't even in the bottom two? Shocking. Not so shocking: toodles, Kupo. Apparently you didn't have enough personality to overcome the hormones of girls that want to wake up with Evan curled up on their pillow like a kitten. C'est la vie. Go be weird somewhere else.

Fuck. Fucking fuck. I have to pick a top four ladies? America is in charge of this? Fuck. Okay...

I can't help it. Her routine and solo last night, I'm done for now. Shit is so up in the air it's uncallable (thanks, America) but if I had make a favorite call, it would be Jeanine. What can I say, barely legal gets me, I guess.


And on the flip side we have this awesome. One of the oldest, and best, contestants this show has ever had. Anyone who gets featured as much as she does in group numbers should be paid attention to. Tonight's work was case in point. Love, love this girl. This woman. Why the hell was she in the bottom 2 tonight? Why?


So much love this girl. So much. She has continued to bring it every week, without fail. I smile whenever she is on screen. She's sexy, fun, accessible, and many other wonderful things. Fuck, the cuts next week will be hard on us all.


Someone like this being in my last slot bespeaks the strength of this season. She is so, so good at what she does, but I lack a connection with her that I feel with the other ladies. I would watch her for days on end, but America's favorite dancer? I'm unsure.

This will not be easy. I don't think I've ever been this torn or conflicted on talent. Bravo to the show, and hooray for an early fall season coming up soon.

And not that 98% of you actually care, but I'm now 1.5 for 6 in calling cuts. I feel a modicum of elation in getting one right, but I have no way of calling next week, as I can barely stand to see any of them go. Tough times ahead, folks. Tough times.
