The end is nigh:
At this point it's pretty much sad to see anyone go is the phrase I would write if Upchucksie had been kicked off weeks ago like she should have. Sadly, I had to wait until almost the end of the season to finally see her go. Goodbye, inexplicably annoying girl. The only thing I'll miss about you is nothing. Okay, maybe you had some nice legs, but it's hard for me to appreciate physical beauty if I find your personality completely repugnant. Plus, I don't know who I'll rip on now that she's gone.
It was sad to see Mark go, mainly because he was such a weirdo and I loved that. But it was time. It's pretty damn obvious who America still wants to be there and I think Mark was pretty amazed he made it as far as he did. Good on you, funny guy. Drinks on me since you didn't win.
You know that catch in your throat you get when you're just so damn overwhelmingly proud of how awesome someone is? That's how I feel almost every time I get to watch Katee dance. For absolutely no reason, since we've never met, I feel like I've been on this journey with her from the start. I guess that's what good television, reality or not, is about.
She continues to step it up week to week and while it will be hard to overcome the awesomeness that is Katee, she'll give her a run for her money. Girl has the moves and the look and whether she wins of not (not) she'll do well in the field of dance. Well, as well and one can do that is.
I've got to give a shout out to Josh this week. He truly is an amazing dancer. The things he can do make no sense. He is a real threat to win it all purely based on "how far he's come" (it is such an overused phrase but so true sometimes). Twitch is, of course, awesome as well, but when the judges always have something critical to say America notices. He's a great personality and I hope he shows up in popular media time and again.
I'll be heading out of town next week for a few days, so I'll be missing the finale and watching it all next weekend (Unless there's TiVo in the hotel room, that is). I'll have the final SYTYCD entry after the viewing and then it's back to boring updates about my life and stuff. Shit, I might even trot out that story 1 or 2 of you were reading along with again. Pins and needles, all of you, I'm sure.

As for life... we'll see what happens... it won't be overnight... but I'm not letting it take years either.
