So lock down has me looking for photography ideas to do in the house (or garden).
As a photographer I'm happy enough photographing other people's portraits, but I actually find it very hard to do self portraits or even just selfies with my phone. I'm way too critical of the finished result, and rarely happy with the outcome.
It's not that I don't accept how I look (I like other people's photographs of me), but it's more to do with the photography itself - I find it really hard to come up with a creative idea (involving me), and then just worry I've taken a really uninspired picture.
So I think I'm going to try to push myself whilst we can't really go out, so this might be an "as and when" series.
I'd like to take your suggestions if you have any self portrait ideas you'd like to see or think I should try. I'll see what I can do with any ideas sent my way.
Anyway, I took this yesterday, and it's okay...
