My Adventure

My adventure began Saturday night at 2:30 am. My wife woke me up and said something is on fire!!!!! I smell burning rubber!!!!! So I turned off the heater and got the smoke detector and put it right on the AC vents, but got no alarm. (I have no sense of smell. But my throat was burning) I then stayed up till 4:00 making sure that I didn't see smoke or flames. The next day, I watched the kids while the wife worked. But the fumes were awful. So out of fear of the kids breathing toxic fumes, we went to a friend of the familys. The more we told the story the more people told us it sounds like a skunk. After leaving the windows open for 3 days the smell never went away. We had someone come in last night and found evidence of the skunk living under the house. With this special light he could tell where he sprayed or hot water heater and ac unit.
$800 to get the house fumigated. Fortunately its coming out of the rent. Im still waiting for the dude to get here for the second treatment. He is an hour late.
