On the way to Baton Rouge for Labor Day, we stopped by my wifes Mom's to borrow her car (she lets us take it on long trips to keep our milage down) Anyway, there was some Beef Jerky on the counter and I asked if I could have some. And of course she said, yes. It was good and come to find out she made it. Well, she came up last weekend and brought me some birthdays presents. One of which was......A Dehydrator!!!! This thing is sooo cool. I'm making a batch of jerky right now. It only takes 16 to 32 hours. Some of it is already ready and it came out really good. I'm also going to use it to make trail mix with out nuts for my son who is highly allergic to nuts. I love toys!!!! All I need is a food vacuum sealer and I will be in post-apocalyptic heaven!!!!
