How is everyone this fine morning? Me? I'm doing super, thanks for asking.
OK, I'm getting a little more adjusted to our new life here. SG has helped.....Thanks.... I hope to catch Alabama Jihad at the end of the month.
I did stay up to late tonight. I've got to get up early to take my kid to school. So I've reached that point of, "is it better to sleep for two hours then get up", or "just stay up?" I'm opting for the latter. However, I think I might be giving myself to much credit. I'm not as young as I used to be.
I will never forget the wisdom a friend of mine's grandfather used to say. "Mike, its terrible to get old."
My grandmother always tells me not to put things off. She said there were many things that her and my grandfather would say....one day we should....... Then he died and now that one day will never come.
Last, but not least, John Lennon says, "life is what happens when you are making other plans."
Boy I just got preachy. My point.....enjoy life now, but cherish your loved ones for that "someday" will not be an option forever.
