It is a dreadful, dreary night. So my wife and I decided the best way to spend it would be with our son, a pizza and a movie. So to spend this dreadful night safely indoors, I of course drove to a neighbors to borrow a movie and since I was out, I might as well brave the weather and drive to the pizza place to save on the delivery charge.

Now the point of my story... I scared someone so bad at Dominos. I arrived in the parking lot and parked. I began to wonder if the movie we borrowed was letterbox. So I'm struggling to read the fine print on the back of the movie for around 30 seconds. By the time I'm finished and look up a black truck had pulled up next to me. The guy was wearing a sweater-vest and is getting out of the truck. I swear he took one look at me getting out of the car with my long grey trench coat flowing in the wind (remember its cold and raining and I've had this coat for 12 years) his mouth was open and he got back in the truck and let me go first and followed in behind me. I'm a pretty regular looking dude, and not very menacing. Have people become so scared of everything that you cant even wear a trench coat in the rain?

haha you are talking about huntsville here. wink really, i doubt it's that..people (not all but a few) try and be nice about stuff. i wouldn't worry about it to much. the only place that you can bet you will get 'the look' is at publix. they act like it's the end of the world if you look 'different' from the conservative norm. smile if i can walk around with tattoos showing and dreads, or weird colored hair..you guys should be fine! wink
