last saturday in my area they have "summer nationals" this is a huge event that has been going on for 15-20 yrs every year on 4th of july "weekend". the whole idea is a bunch of people get together and show off how cool/fast/badass their car/truck/motorcycle is. my fav is the "burnouts", they used to dragrace too but for whatever reason that wasn't happening. so we went & paid the $12.00 to walk around on the streets & look at all the cars & be tempted by the street vendors. it was like a giant flea market. it used to be free & in my opinion it wasn't worth $3.00. but we made the best of it. the burn outs were pretty lame-o for most of the cars we saw. or I should say for what we could see from the distance we were at. & apparently it was a huge gathering for all the strippers within a 100 mile radius, since we were approached by about 15 different strippers handing out flyers for their club or trying to sell us a t-shirt & a free pass to their club with the sale. now mind you this was a "family event", lots & lots of kids there. I'm far from old fashioned but I wouldn't want my kid exposed to the hootchie-wear these girls were sporting.
so in the middle of my contact high from all the exhaust fumes & burnt rubber I remembered that the Live earth concert was going on the same day...kinda ironic that there I was with a few thousand other spectators (on 1 of 4 days this event ran) weezing in fumes with a big grin on my face while people all over the earth are fighting to prevent such damage to the ozone.

in other crap...I went fishing Sunday, "shorecasting" at Salisbury beach & caught 2 little stripers. (notice only 1 "p", so its not stripper...its a "stripe"r). I'll post a pic later, I'm lazy. lol.

my vacation started today, I went to work mainly to do the schedule & inventory, I was mad-ass busy, I ended up doing $300. in services, most days range from $150.-200. somehow I managed to do all that, inventory, the schedule, my usual monday paperwork, a lil bit of cleaning & laundry. then I flipped out right before I left & yellad at a few girls. they really pissed me off & I'm upset that I yelled because usually I can speak calmly when I'm bothered, but enough was enough.

so I came home & cleaned the house like a crazed mad woman, I still have shit to do, but I needed a break. +_ I'm hungry.
