I used to read one particular Amelia Bedelia book where she put 'dates' in the cake. Dates from a calendar! Sigh. I can't listen to your song just yet, so for all I know you could be singing about the same book.

No Eddie my cake is referring to the first Creepshow movie, but I used to enjoy the Amelia Bedelia books also! Thanks for taking me back in time. Once it was me and my friends Henry Higgins, Ramona, Ribsy, Bunnicula, and Amelia Bedelia riding the Magic School Bus, which had my pet snake on it!
