Thank you for all the happy birthday wishes!
I decided not to go out and perform tonight, because none of my Dallas/Ft. Worth friends said that they would bother to show up. However, I will be celebrating tomorrow night with or without them at Station 4 and Woody's in Oak Lawn.
We took my hair to a lighter color today, and it continues to be a work in progress. I will probably post pictures eventually.
I am excited, because two weekends from now is Texas Frightmare Weekend at Grapevine Convention Center! Sid Haig! Bill Mosely! Lloyd Kaufman! Herschell Gordon Lewis! Oh My!
I just got done watching some of these American Idol auditions, damn some of these people are obviously insane.
What the fuck is up with these people wearing their damn work uniforms to audition? It gains no points from me, but maybe I'm a cynic.

oh, and Happy Birthday!!
Especially in the "Collector's" movies; these are ones that are super-rare and out-of-print (which is why it's legal for them to sell copies... maybe some lawyer would challenge that, but it works for me). I finally rented Vampyros Lesbos a short while back. Jess Franco has quite a visual sense.
Anyway, fyi, lots of Euroweirdness for sure. They got the horror, the sexy, the freak-out, spaghetti westerns too.
If I remember correctly, Lloyd Kaufman does the introduction on recent editions of Fat Guy Goes Nutzoid. Maybe it was John Golden. That's an interesting film.
