i just spent 200 dollars on a 12 dvd set of a collection of van beuren cartoons from the 1920's and 30's. they were fleischer's biggest east coast competitor and weird as all get out.

i'm totally okay with spending 200 dollars that's going directly to an eccentric collector/historian who sought all these out on 35 mm and transferred them over to dvd. these are the things that are important to me.

now to find a gramophone...

next i think i should probably make a post about my quest for fun guy's underpants [no worries mission accomplished some time ago...though it's an ongoing seach]. but i'll let this one sink in a bit first.
