so i thought we could all use a little dose of lycanthropy! alright well not quite... it's true i do consider myself probably to be about 1/8th werewolf of something of that nature, seeing as how i can never sleep during full moon. i'm guessing it's just that repressed recessive were-gene. or maybe it's just too bright outside my window...

in any event i've come to associate myself with the old norse warriors...the ulfhednar.

you've probably got a handle on the berserker? basically viking warriors that wear bear pelts that work themselves into such a rage before battle that they basically feel like they've become one with the bear, and are an unstoppable animal. very mind over matter sort of business you see.

well the ulfhednar [translated basically means men with wolf pelts on their heads] are the wolf version of the berserker. this is what i've named my bike since i can apparently come away from getting hit by a car on it unscathed [something i'll try and not have to experience again mind you] i figure i've got some manner of intensity that i might draw from the wolf.

upon doing some research, because i obviously have to make a stellar back patch involving said warrior wolf, i came upon this:

http://www.ulfhednar.org

here in america we get the shaft with the renaissance faire [sorry personal gripe of mine] but in poland they get viking reenactments! i ran it through the babelfish translator and these guys live off the land and are generally badass. i can definitely respect this.

now i just have to work on being a little more "metal" and methinks i might try and follow suit. to a degree...

maybe when i head to europe? more on that later!

i think life is inherently what you believe it is and force it to be... after all, if you ignore something, it may well not exist at all.

Ive heard the same. Actually when I got my tats they said letting them heal correctly and avoiding sun exposure is key in keeping them from fading. But I suppose the color and time has a lot to do with fading too.
