Yeah, it should be understood that despite the fact that nothing makes my stomach churn like watching my culture get disinfected, repackaged, and sold back to me, I am a Kurt Cobain apologist. I thank him everyday for saving me from a fate of mullets, acid-wash jeans, and Kip Winger. He can do no wrong in my book. I feel the record labels and MTV are to blame and that Cobain was just a lab rat in some sick experiment in counter-culture co-opting and marketing science. Thats what killed him. Can you imagine what it mustve been like to become what you hate and constantly be followed around by legions of soulless halfwits who are either trying to find new ways to cash in on you or who are singing along to your songs while behaving in a manner directly counter to their meaning?
