I know everyone says they have the best animals but ugh. My zoo is just so special and amazing.
Aiden is my rag doll mix. He turned 16 in November and he is my shadow. He has been the neediest cat since I got him as a kitten. He’s loud. He begs like a dog. He gives me back scratches when I’m grooming the dog (seriously lol). He is always in my business. And he’s the absolute BEST cuddler in existence. His favorite is planting his head straight into my boobs lol Aiden recently was diagnosed with beginning stages of kidney failure and my heart ACHES. He’s happy and doing well. But we have to give him fluid therapy twice a week by injecting saline under the skin. He’s also on prescription food and tons of snuggles 🖤
Zacky is my tabby who came about 6 months after Aiden. He has resting bitch face but is a huge lover. He cuddles as much as Aiden. When he’s extra cuddly and feisty he gives out love nibbles and also tends to drool lol. He is 15 years young and living life with his life partner Aiden. Seriously, they’re in love.
Tarly is my black Newfoundland. He turned 6 in October and he is my big baby. He outweighs me by 40+ lbs but he has no idea he’s that big. We call him a wrecking ball. He is my hungry boy, just as food obsessed as me. He loves the snow and loves his mama. Fun fact: he likes to slam the bathroom door shut as if he’s throwing a tantrum 😂
Scarlett is my English mastiff. She will be 7 in a couple months. My husband and I got Scarlett from his mother a few years ago. MIL has some health issues and we took her for the weekend to see how she’d do and she never left. A vet told my MIL that she has canine autism but I can’t find much about that. But regardless she is special. She is very OCD, if something is out of place she won’t go in the room. She has extremely sensitive bearing and will go running if you sneeze near her. She also hates getting her picture taken lol. She does love to wedge herself between me and my husband at bed time though
Drama joined our pack last. She is the brown Newfie. She’s the reason we got Tarly as a puppy! Drama and Tarly are litter mates and we got Drama from my MIL again as her health deteriorated further. Her and Tarly are so similar for growing up indifferent homes it’s crazy. They both suck on pillows to go to bed. They shake them up so aggressively but don’t actually destroy them lol she’s loud. She’s whiny. She’s bossy. She. Is. Drama.
