Pride is so important for so many people. Closeted people. Questioning people. Exploring people. Unapologetically proud & out people. No matter how open you are, you can still be proud.
I don’t think I’ve ever said it here, but I am a bi/pan ENM/poly hopeful! I’ve given myself the courage & goal to share truths & to debunk myths about people like me. I celebrate by educating (where and how I can). I celebrate by sharing positive news in the LGBTQ+ community. I celebrate by basking in everyone’s visible PRIDE, especially during the month of June. I celebrate by remembering how pride started & sharing the stonewall story to those unaware. I celebrate by gathering around the most accepting group of people I have ever met. I’m not talking a certain group of my friends, I am talking about the strangers who hug you & celebrated with you & that you immediately connect with.
The world can get ugly, celebrate the good as much as you can 🖤
