Oh boy. I had a great weekend. My little brother tuned 18 this weekend. We raged it pretty hard on friday night. Finally that kid is 18. It has taken him fucking forever.
On Saturday night, I went to bottom of the hill and saw Mclusky and Yourcodenameis:milo. They both absolutely killed it. I had no idea who either of those bands were, so it was quite a pleasant surprise. I went with an old friend of my and my roomate missy came along. I miss kicking it with that girl. This was like the second time we've kicked it all year. Hopefully that will all change real soon.
On sunday after work, I met up with Hilly and saw steel pulse at the Independedt, which was formally the Justice League. By far the coolest venue I've been to. There was a great sound system, high cielings..... Everything just seemed perfect. Steel Pulse was alright. I wasn't knocked off my feet or anything. Solid band for sure though.
For now, it is back to the miserable world of school and work. Holiday breaks are almost here..... I can't fucking wait. I saw my first x mas tree dealer the other day. They seem to come out earlier and earlier every year, which is fine with me. The x mas tree dealerships always get me all excited for the holidays, and x mas trees smell absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!
