I've decided to cut all of my anchors in life,
I dont need things or people to hold me down.
The worlds a big place, and this girl needs to be all over it, with a smile on my face.
Serious changes need to occur, this place is getting old.

I get itchy feet every three years and start looking for new places and things to do myself. I've only lived in the DC area since 2000 and I'm already looking to leave. Unfortunately I really enjoy my job, have some great friends here, and love the people I work with so I'll have to hang out here a bit longer. In order to cope, I'm constantly looking for new places to go to in the local area, new things to do, and a few more good friends along the way.

Some of us are filled with curiosity and wonderlust and the only way to be happy is to feed the need. Hehe, sorry, I really don't mean to sound like Dear Abby -so take this advice or leave it - hopefully it doesn't sound too cryptic. There is nothing wrong with making changes in your life; although start off with small changes rather than drastic ones. Set a few short term goals and work towards them. Take time out to decide whats really important in your life and worth keeping. As tantalus so wisely stated.."you will find you have more than you realized".
