I stayed up last night acting the fool with my friends so I should be asleep right now... Unfortunately, I'm giving plasma in about 6 hours. I'm making myself get over this irrational fear of needles but I'm still stressing. I know what you're thinking too: "But you have a freaking tattoo of your spine! What do you mean "fear of needles?!"
Turns out I'm ok with being stabbed several thousand times per minute. My problem is with being impailed and I'm not too keen on the idea of something penatrating me... and staying in! Yes, that is how I rationalize my problem with sharp objects. With tattoos, the needles come out a.k.a. they don't linger and or take much of me with them.
