Yesterday, we attended in honor of Grandfather’s funeral and Celebration of Life. A many old traditional and current traditions melded into one; one of the Eastern Cantonese, one of the Western Americas.

I was given two names according to my mother.

helainked:
My babe, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather, as I said he will always be with you, in your memory and in your heart, let's give a big hug to life that surrounds us day by day, many times it can be a big burden, other times it gives us a break and we can relax, but at the end of the day we are alive and every moment should be precious. Oh! I love the meaning of your name, it's magnificently epic.

@helainked He made the biggest sacrifice to move to the US by himself, work, send money back to the family to eventually move them over years later. He was a very skilled artist/painter, musician and a chef by trade. He was able to buy his own plot of land and house, where I spent every Summer at in my youth. He was the last of my grandparents to pass, but also one of the most influential ones. With grace and aplomb, may we celebrate every breathe and heartbeat.

My parents took their recent trip to China and Hong Kong, they picked up these 3 layer forged Japanese steel kitchen knives for myself and my brothers. Light, solid and super sharp. For veggies, meats, seafood and everything else. One knife to rule them all.

Been through several heads and cabs throughout the years. Positive Grid's Spark just came out with a cabinet, sure it's gonna be loud as fuck, and kick like a mule. Great thing about this amp is it takes both guitars, basses, keyboards, electronics and most anything you can throw at it. Can daisy chain multiple cabs if need be. Welcome to the show...

Once upon a time, upon these strands, my parents met the Dali Lama at a friend’s house. He refused the private limos and 5 star hotels. He would rather be in a family environment, and keep things simple.

My mom had a conversation with him, and asked him to bless me since at the time, my life was a chaotic and unfortunate mess. He weaved...
