The original concepts of EA was devised and inspired by the double albums from Oakland's Neurosis and Tribes of Neurot: Times of Grace and Grace albums. Then Iron Lung's (one member from CA, another from WA) White Glove Test. Double albums that can be played and listened to separately or combined together for a full experience.
I scratched my former bands Nine Sisters (grindcore) and Avatar (experimental noise) to marry them into unison, as I was veering on a different path of expression and exploration. An old friend did the same with her art, magazine and writings around the same time.
