I miss the simpler days of 4 track analog recording. Just guitar and drums. It's where Nine Sisters and Avatar started. Now we're onto 64 digital with an over compensation of prettying, dolling, glittering, and over compressing the fuck out of everything.
I just recently discovered this trio from Italia, formed in 2018. All members are multi instrumentalists, blending the ancient with the modern. Dark Neofolk melding with Industrial. Each individual are highly skilled, educated, and hold a many other talents outside of just music.

That’s amazing! They’re super important.
A thank you card from my Labor Union Brother. Driving 2.5 hours out, helping him to recert his Electrician’s Licemse for 8 hours, then drive back home another 2.5 hours. Be real.

Livermore Pleasanton Fire and CERT annual picnic today. Had the whole space to members only. Games of cornhole, ping pong table, bingo, raffle, etc. Some of the active duty firefighters even dropped in for some of the festivities, and grabbed a quick bite to eat. Grillin’ and chillin’!
