Some 16 years ago when I was working at and helping run Halo Custom Guitars, we released Signature Misfits/Halo stringed instrument picks with Wedgie.

It’s what’s inspired me to continue with the Arts: the sound , the visual, touch and go.

Yesterday, we attended in honor of Grandfather’s funeral and Celebration of Life. A many old traditional and current traditions melded into one; one of the Eastern Cantonese, one of the Western Americas.

I was given two names according to my mother.

Do Ji Ming and Do Ji Yi:

Ming was my birthright, too fiery and war like, so she changed it after consulting an astrologist...

My babe, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather, as I said he will always be with you, in your memory and in your heart, let's give a big hug to life that surrounds us day by day, many times it can be a big burden, other times it gives us a break and we can relax, but at the end of the day we are alive and every moment should be precious. Oh! I love the meaning of your name, it's magnificently epic.

@helainked He made the biggest sacrifice to move to the US by himself, work, send money back to the family to eventually move them over years later. He was a very skilled artist/painter, musician and a chef by trade. He was able to buy his own plot of land and house, where I spent every Summer at in my youth. He was the last of my grandparents to pass, but also one of the most influential ones. With grace and aplomb, may we celebrate every breathe and heartbeat.

He traveled miles and miles away to support the family. Sending back all his earnings to bring the family over. They settled in Sebastapol, CA. The rest of his kin settled in the East Bay. He lived until 95, a full life, with no suffering. Now he joins his wife in the afterlife...

I rarely buy anything for myself these days. Every once in awhile, there will be something rare that catches my inner eye.

Native American black metal. One man band always blasting forward, vinyl love.

My parents took their recent trip to China and Hong Kong, they picked up these 3 layer forged Japanese steel kitchen knives for myself and my brothers. Light, solid and super sharp. For veggies, meats, seafood and everything else. One knife to rule them all.

Been through several heads and cabs throughout the years. Positive Grid's Spark just came out with a cabinet, sure it's gonna be loud as fuck, and kick like a mule. Great thing about this amp is it takes both guitars, basses, keyboards, electronics and most anything you can throw at it. Can daisy chain multiple cabs if need be. Welcome to the show...
