So today, friday, awesome. Vans 10 year Anniversary of the Warped Tour! YAY!
Unfortunatly body count did not perform, appartently Ice-T couldn't make it. But, Fishbone did play.
Andrew W.K. was the first band we wanted to see, awesome, as usual. He just makes me smile. Next band was Dropkick Murphy's (almost died in the crowd), but once again, they are always good. Next was Fishbone. Now, this was the first and probably last time I would ever be able to see them, and we were right up front, watching the sweat drip off of them. It was amazing. (We went and bought items from the fishbone tent, and who sold us the merch, and signed his comic but the lead singer, fuck I cannot remember his name, sorry. Shook his hand and had a nice conversation with him.)
Next was The Unseen, very good. And then we left because it was hot and we wanted to beat the traffic leaving (all the good charlotte kiddies).
A couple things I did not like about the warped tour this year. It was at Gillette stadiums parking lot, so no grass, no trees, just tar. Awful. Price of food and drinks SUCK there. And there are way too many children there. 8 kids alone were thrown during Murphy's.
It was an awesome day, minus no BC, and I got some color, and now I'm tired.
Also, I saw an SG there. And I wanted to talk to her, but I didn't remember her name. She also performed at the SG Caberet show in Worcester, she was new at that point.
I guess that's it.
YAY! And I got a new bowl. Happy day for Megan.
