holy christ. I have been eating and eating the most fattening wonderful tasty christmas treats this season, and I expected to slip backwards at least a few pounds on my diet. "no worries" I told myself. "they will be easy to lose again. just enjoy yourself." so just now I'm getting ready to take a shower and I check myself out in the mirror. "hm. I still look ok. I wonder how much I've gained." so I go get on the scale. turns out I LOST a pound. what the hell? my metabolism must be working really well.


well. we haven't had our actual dinner yet. that's today. I'm roasting a GOOSE. (sorry veggies and vegans. hey, at least it's free range) and making fudge. and mashed potatoes with heavy cream. and pie. mmmmmmm.
