Hello to whoever is reading this.
So, i was gone for several weeks. Life have been really crazy, between school and work i have no life. I've been strugling with lonelyness and a bit of depression but hey,the show must go on. My ex try to return in to scene but it didn't work out, as it turns out i'm just that kind of guy thtat can't forgive an infidelity and of course that event did not help my mood.
After A LOT of practicing i am now a 100% cursive writer, and my students hate it hahahaha (that's right i have 2 undergrad students now).
I have a lot of pens and inks deliver in the last few weeks, ranging from nice cheap chinese to extra luxury super fine japanese pens, from british inks to french premium inks with gold dust in them, so here they are.
This one is made with an ancient Japanese laquer technique "Urushi", is the cheap version, the expensives are around 5oo bucks or even thousands. 18 kt gold nib.
His poorer friend, Platinum Vicoh Standard black, 14 kt gold nib.
This lovely german lady is my Pelikan M200 Café créme, with gold plated steel nib, one of my all time favourites. As i like to match inks and pens this lady have Faber Castell Hazalnt Brown in her.
This two are Japanese too, Yellow one is a Pilot Namiki Vanishing Point (18 ktgold fine nib) is interesting because is one of the few fountain pens with retractable nib. The black one is a really nice Piot Namiki Custom 74 with 14 kt gold music nib. What's interesting about music nibs is that they give a lot of line width variation, they take their name from beeing used to write music notes.
This was a gift for my dad. Japanese too, Platinum 3776 century, 14 ct gold nib. It receive its name from the height of the Mount Fuji!!!
This four are a special treat. The green one is a very VERY nice Conklin Crescent Filler with the Mark Twain Autograph, the cool thing about this one is that the filling sistem was ,i think, the first "self filling" pen, super nice, i love the color, USA made, steel nib. Next one a Platinum Balance, non expensive pen but very nice, steel nib. Blue one is a new old stock pilot from de 80's i think, 18 kt gold nib, kinda girly but i like it. Bottom one is the very expected (in fountain pen community) TWSBI Eco, piston filler, demonstrator, broad steel nib, awesome to use, and realy good price (around $30)
This two bottles are J Herbin 1670 (anniversary) french inks with gold dust in them. Super nice ink to play around and the blue one even to every day writing.
I actually have a some more pens to show, but i'm guessing i am the only fountain pen geek aroud here, i will show them to you in some other time ;)
