Do anybody know what RLS is?
It is a syndrome called restless legs syndrome. Turns out i have it since i was a child and it has worsened in the last five years. In short, every time I'm sleeping I feel an incredible need for moving the legs, that results in sleep rarely more than 3 or 4 hours per night and so i am almost always tired.
There are ways to treat it a little like taking neuromodulators, i'm taking an opioid called tramadol and that lets me sleep a little better. The problem with tramadol is that being a narcotic is addictive, I take between 50 and 100 mg daily to aspire to be able get some sleep at night. The only funny thing about this is that i'm a little high on tramadol a good part of the day hahahaha.
Moreover, the alternative to treat this condition is not to sleep, I've tried it and in about two weeks I felt I was going crazy, i tried to read, exercise, write or something for the night but the night was meant to sleep (among other fun stuff). Above all, it seems that the lack of proper sleep changes brain chemistry and now I get depressed very easily and tend to be in a bad mood.
Anyway, i wasn't sure what to write here today and I thought I would share a little about me.
