A subtle warning sign that you are on the cusp of losing your temper is when you start threatening inanimate objects...y'know, somethingorother isn't working properly, or your computer is crashing a lot, or something's not printing...whatever...you eventually become so irate that what little perspicacity you cling to goes out the window and the threats begin:

"I swear if you don't fucking cocking work this twatting...

Scott Adams (writer of Dilbert and all round incredibly witty chap) has started writing a blog...that in itself is not an essentially noteworthy fact (unless you like Scott Adams of course) as *everyone* has a blog...myself included. What *is* noteworthy though is the note he sent out to DNRC members illustrating the thought process of the potential blogger...

1 - The world sure needs more...

I used to use a livejournal, but never told any of my friends I had one because I didn't want them to know about any of the things I wrote about in it blush
I wanted people to read it, but not people I actually knew. Ah, the wonders of the internet!

The Blues Brothers is such a great film...my dad, brother and I used to dance in front of the tv when the songs came on biggrin

Yay! On a hunt for a ridiculous photo of me (which I did eventually find and is in my pics bit...i'm sure you'll spot the one) I have just happened across an interesting email, I sent it to myself 3 years ago as a reminder to track down an EP I was searching for...I had absolutely no luck at the time but have just found...

Harumph! Why is it that whenever I go to the doctors with a legitiment ailment of some description it always "gets better" on the way in? I could endure whatever it is for days, weeks, even months, but the same thing would happen...the second I cross the threshold of the doctors surgery it magics itself away. This is probably along the same lines as the...

I was amazed at how it did all the serial killer stuff first and better and still no one really credits it. Those cell scenes were Silence of the Lambs x10. The weird MOs and people asking what it's all about were right out of Se7en. I was amazed by how good it was.

I don't get the doctor thing but I do get the record thing. The IT thing doesn't apply because I'm a software developer. biggrin

K...fun game to play in teh office. If your place of work is anything like mine then you probably get plagued most of the day by fucking callcentres trying valiantly to save you money on your phone / consumable / utility bills etc.

Calls like this are always irritating but at first I managed to retain some semblance of civility to the poor schmoes who...

Just call me the fluffiness fairy! Office games are great but we don't get those kind of phone calls. In a way I almost want call centres to keep calling us so I can toy with them. Would def make the day pass by quicker. smile

Hhhhmmmmm 3 posts in one day? I must be uber-bored non? And I am, very bored. It's particularly sucky to have to work long hours at the best of times; but to get home, fire up WoW to relax for a bit, and find your entire guild in an MC raid (that I couldn't get to on time because I was working) only serves to...

Crikey 2 posts in one day! Unprecedented...um...well it is for me anyway. wink So yeah, I thought i'd post something related to one of my biggest passions...movies \o/

Yes yes I know there's a favourite movies bit but that piffling section down there is woefully inadequate to encapsulate all of my favourites...so, in proper nerdtastic fashion, have a look at my collection instead...should anyone be interested...

oOoOoOoOo...well this is a jolly interesting site...and, more to the point, yet another marvellous distraction to squander the otherwise productive hours I should be working...woo! \o/

I'm wondering precisely what it is that I should be "sharing" here? I already have a blog, a DeviantART page (neither of which get updated much anymore) and countless forums to outpour my rambling to...so a pertinent question would...
