i finally watched the ice storm last night... it was completely different from what i ever imagined it to be from its movie posters...
i know that it was written by the same guy who did american beauty... but really, this just seems like a really bad version of american beauty set 40 some years prior to it.
it started out cool... i mean really, any movie that starts with a fantastic 4 refrance has to be good right? boy was i wrong... this movie not only depressed the fuck out of me, it wasn't even a good depressing movie (like dancer in the dark, that movie was so great but i'm afraid if i watch it again i'd kill myself)... stupid movies.
in other news, american beauty is one of the best movies i've ever seen.
