Had a really nice vacation, but now I wish I was on PERMANENT vacation...
My mom came down from Oregon for a visit, and we hung out here at home for a couple days, shopping, cooking, watching movies, etc. Then on Saturday, March 28th we headed over to Laytonville for Jeff's band to play a "practice gig" because he just recently became the drummer. It went off so well that the guy asked if they could come back the next night! I'm in the process of posting the grainy videos I have of it on youtube, so keep checking back! In the meantime, here's a pic!
After the concert, my bestie, Amy came down and the three of us (Jeff, Mom and myself) met her at the mall for some more shopping, then we ate at Applebee's mmmm. The next day we left for Grass Valley to see Jeff's parents! It was a great time, we went on a few hikes, and Jeff and I went what they refer to as "Cave Diving" lol. Which just means we were 2 out of 3 of us (out of 6 total) who were brave enough to not turn back halfway through the cave, and actually climb the rickity ladder in the middle and come out the other side...
