to keep up with "sunday-blog-writing-tradition" here i am once again! not to mention i'm typing directly to you from my new laptop that jeff got me for our anniversary! 
he and roomy are currently each on their very own xbox360, one in the living room, one in the office, playing call of duty 4 with each other. fun stuff. such dorks, but i love them to death
let's put it this way, they're talking to each other on headsets, AND can hear each other live, as there are no doors between the two rooms. and there's an echo...that would (and kind of already is) drive me nuts lol, but to each his own.
it was hot here today...it's currently 77 degrees in our house. and that's the coolest it's felt today. we totally need to invest in an air conditioner. i think we're going to watch cloverfield tonight. should be fun! haven't seen it yet, so please no spoilers. although i know just the fact that i said that will bring the spoilers on like nobody's business whether they're true or not. oh well
had a good weekend, we went to south lake tahoe and got to see my mom and a bunch of my side of the family. haven't seen my mom since our wedding reception (which will be a year ago may 26th). it was really nice to see them all, and we had fun too
