Man, am I confused! I was excited about getting a new job at a restaurant & working under a great chef; I started out part time. Today I find out that they don't offer benefits of any kind, unless youre on salary. You also only get paid twice a fucking month & Id be working only at night; when everyone I know is @ home. To break it down, I would basically be leaving a job that I have 3 weeks paid time off, whatever day I want off I get off, great work hours (the morning shift). The club is closed all of the major holidays & its closer to my house. The new job, I would never have a possibility of paid vacation; Id be working at night when everyone I know will be at home, this place never closes & Id be getting paid twice a month! I dont think its worth it; I want more money but damn, this doesnt seem like a smart move. Im working at this place part time for now, while still working my old job part time during the slow season. I think Im going to go into my regular job tomorrow and see what we can work out.
