Well life just carries on getting better and better.
Dave's union have just decided to go on striike because they are worried about Morrison shutting down the warehouse where he works.
They KNOW that the place will shut in march 06 [ nice of them to tell us now even though they have been asked about this for the past year ], but they SAY he wont discuss redundancy packages.
So..and i don't quite get the logic here...they have voted in strike action which will break the no strike agreement and make it possible for Morrison to sack the workers and have no need to think about redundancy packages......

I've never understood the logic behind stikes. It gets the management pissed off at the workers and want to fire them, and if it's a job that means interacting with the public (like the local bus drivers) it gets the public pissed off at them and want the management to fire them... I hope it all works out okay in the end
