Alright, so this is the story:
Fri Night while at work a friend stops by and invites me to Colemans, A local Pub. So I decide, what the fuck I could use a drink lets do it. We meet up at the pub, hang out for a bit with his sister who is going through a broken off engagement so is a bit depressed blah blah. She gets tired of colemans and heads to Rosie's. We go there after because his roomate and a few other people are there. That lasts till about midnight when his Sister gets tired. So when they leave we head out to yet another pub, Blarny Stone(if you havent gotten the connection here I live in the Irish part of town...so all the bars are Irish based Pubs, Colemans, Blarny Stone, Rosie O'Greadys)
So we end up at Blarny Stone hanging out till last call. We then decide its finaly time to split, we are all buzzed if not drunk. On my way out I get cut off by some punks who stop me to talk. They explane they are members of a new promotion group "stone thrower shows". They tell me they have booked one of the BEST venues in Syracuse, one that hasent been booked sense 85'. So we end up going back to Mac's(one of the members) house and Drinking PBR till 5am talking shop.
So, it looks like Syracuse might be getting somewhat of a Punk Sceen going again, or at least reviving the one that Died years ago. Im looking for anyone willing to help spread the word, I posted the show in the upstate NY events section and in the normal Events section.

In any case, that was a good weekend. Informative even. I now know there are females out there with thicker goatees than Speedphreak's.
