I feel you! I have a cousin who does this to dogs (she's had her cat for abt 10 years..but it's outside, not inside so that's probably why). She and her husband will get a puppy, and keep him or her for a few months, and then decide..nah don't want we'll just take him/her to the pound. Throw him/her away. I hate it! They just got a French Bulldog last weekend and I give them 6 months before they are taking him to the pound.
