i've been a busy beaver lately.
Friday i went to my uncle's cremation service where i was asked my relationship to the deceased...
I learned a lot about my family and realized how much they actually bother me. These people (as in my parents) made a stink because they played highway to hell at the service. they made a big deal about how all of those people (my mom's side of the family) are so "lost" because they don't have Jesus in their lives.
they just think that they are so much better than everyone else and it really bothered me.
Saturday we went down to my sister in laws graduation. She was so happy and excited. I was proud of her. It was weird being back to the school that i graduated from 6 years ago (my boyfriend 10 years ago) everything seemed so different and it brought back a lot of memories both good and bad. So after the graduation we went to my in laws to have a cookout and we had a lot of fun. Part of it was not so fun as i was having issues and was in a lot of pain but i tried not to let that ruin the evening.
Sunday we woke up early and went to the flea market. We've gone for 3 weeks now and it doesn't seem to be as cool as last year. I wish we had more money because there was this really cool table and although we don't really need a table I'm sure we could have used it. we bought the social network on DVD.
Then we went to get some illegal fireworks for next weekend. we went with $250 and ended up buying well over $320 worth of fireworks. because we are thrifty and because they were giving away $25 gift cards for every $100 you spent which was pretty cool. we ended up bringing back like 5 bags of explosives which is more than we've had at past 4th of july parties. So it should be a blast.
After that we went to the scottish games and celtic festival which seemed to be an afterthought day on the festival. we watched some men in kilts throw heavy hammers and such. they were running way behind on everything and we left early so my boyfriend didn't get to participate in the amateur games. it seemed odd as well that everything was full size for the amateur part also...
and that brings us to today. i will be going to a friends house for some crocheting... because i'm a dork and its fun to me.

damagedi:
Once again sorry for you loss. You know family is the one thing you just can't change. Hope fully for $320 you get a lot of BANG for your bucks... Stay safe with those dodgy fireworks. Keep a bucket of water near just in case. Never go back to a lit firework....
