I meant to write a reflection of my life so far on my 28th birthday.

That passed, and I didn't write anything.

Then I said, "I'll write it on my 29th birthday, because that will be more significant since it's my last birthday in my 20s."

That birthday passed too, and nothing was written.

So I guess a month after my 30th birthday would be...

You ever go through cycles of feeling depressed and okay?

I just found a whole bunch of snacks in my bag that I used on my last hotel stay. I’m eating this shit.

Was just reminded of something that made me angry last week, and I just had a brief flash of anger and resentment again. I wish I was better at controlling my temper.

I just read something that made me happy but made me really, really depressed at the same time.

Does that make sense?

iggy:
total sense.

Battling one of your more persistent and nastier demons is an uphill struggle. But I like to believe I can conquer it.

My first reaction was to get upset and say "You don't understand", but then I stopped myself and...

Saying "He's attractive...for an Asian" is not a compliment. It is racist.

Thank you.

timjimmy:
Maybe he/she is simply not usually attracted to Asians but this was an exception?
iggy:
Yeah that's pretty damn racist. Attractive is attractive, doesn't matter what race someone is.

I've been spoiled by my ultra fast internet speed at home - I was just reminded how sluggish hotel internet can be.
